Iris Photography Pop Up Events Around The UK
As I undertake my photography project to document as much of the UK as I can in images and video, I will be hosting iris photography pop up events along my routes.
If you would like to have a truly unique and personal piece of art of your very own window to your soul, please do sign up to my newsletter which I use to communicate out new events announcements, special offers etc. Its the only way you can be assured of being notified of an event happening near you and the opportunity to secure your ticket to the event.
What is iris photography?
Iris photography is a fairly new photography genre, well here in the UK anyway. It is a form of macro photography obviously focussed on the eye and specifically the iris. But taking the image of your eye is just the start. The real magic of the final image you see on the internet is in the editing skills of the photographer.
Editing the final image can take anywhere between 1 – 2 hours using Adobe Photoshop.

Where are these iris photography pop up events held?
As I plan my routes around the UK for my personal photography project, I will identify possible locations for a pop up event (and other photography services will be available whilst I’m in the area) . As I add routes and secure a place to host an event, my newsletter subscribers and social media followers will be notified (social media doesn’t guarantee that you will see the update)
So far my pop up events have been community centres and a small business that rents out a spare room/office in their building.
As my space requirement is quite small, I’d be open to being contacted by businesses who would like to be involved in these pop-up events. A space of 2.5m x 2.5m would be ample space for me, my kit, a table, 2 chairs and my client, with standing space for any accompanying attendees.
My plan is to photograph as much of the UK as I can so its very likely that I’ll be hosting a pop up event near you!

What happens at an iris photography pop up event?
I have written an in-depth overview of what you can expect from an iris photography photoshoot.
How much are tickets for an iris photography photoshoot?
Tickets are £40 per eye/person. So a family of 4 would be £160.
Why are you hosting these iris photography events?
I’m hosting these a away to generate an income to fund my photography project, the output of which I make available through various online channels and social media platforms.
As I undertake this project on a solo basis, hosting these events gives me the opportunity to interact with my clients which is a great benefit for the mental health.
What is your current planned route?
I’m currently planning and putting together my next route and will update this article as soon as it’s been finalised and published.
How can I attend one of your iris photography pop up events?
The most reliable way of ensuring you are notified of any upcoming events is to subscribe to my newsletter.
I use this newsletter to notify my subscribers of any newly announced events, updates to my route should they want to engage with me for any of my other services whilst I’m in their area and important updates from the project.
I DO NOT abuse or spam my subscribers with mundane emails and try to limit emails to once a week although I have no set date for these.
