Discover the colours and patterns hidden in your eyes — without leaving home.
I’m Elton, the photographer behind The Touring Eye. While I’m based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, for the next few months, I’m offering iris photography sessions in your own home.
I bring my specialist camera, lighting and photography equipment to you, capturing the intricate detail of your iris and turning it into a personal piece of art.
Sessions cost £40 per eye, with a minimum booking of two eyes/people. For home visits within my local two-mile service area, setup costs £30 for two or three eyes and is free for four or more eyes.

Your Eyes, Photographed in Your Own Home
You see your eyes every day, but probably never quite like this.
Iris photography captures a close-up view of the coloured part of your eye, revealing fine lines, textures and colour variations that can be difficult to see in a mirror.
A home session is a relaxed way to create something personal with your partner, family or friends. Bring everyone together in one place, and I’ll bring the photography setup.
Whether you want individual iris images or are interested in artwork featuring several eyes, I can talk you through the available options before you book.

Personally Photographed and Hand-Edited
I photograph your actual iris using specialist macro equipment, then edit the image by hand to reveal its detail and create the finished artwork.
I don’t use AI-generated eyes, automated editing actions or presets. Your image starts with your eye, and I personally work on the edit.
Your eye, not AI.
How Your Home Session Works
1. Send Me Your Details
Let me know your postcode, how many eyes you would like photographed and your preferred dates. I’ll check availability and confirm the total cost before you book.
2. Make Space for the Photography Setup
I bring the specialist photography equipment, including the camera, lighting and a chin and forehead rest to help you keep your head steady.
As a guide, please allow a clear space of at least 2.5 metres by 2.5 metres, ideally around 3 metres by 3 metres. If you’re unsure whether your room is suitable, let me know when you enquire.
3. Have Your Iris Photographed
Allow around 10 – 15 minutes per eye, plus time for me to set up and pack away. I take several photographs so I can select a suitable image for editing.
4. Receive Your Finished Images
After the visit, I personally edit your photographs and send your finished digital images through a private download link.
Delivery is normally within three days, although please allow up to five working days.
