Discover the Art of Iris Photography in Chepstow

This January, I’m bringing my one-of-a-kind iris photography experience to Chepstow for my first event in the town. Whether you’re captivated by colour, fascinated by the intricate textures of the human eye, or simply want a stunning piece of personal artwork – this is your opportunity to see yourself like never before.

Each session captures the unique beauty of your iris using specialist macro photography and professional lighting techniques. After the shoot, your image is hand-edited with precision to bring out the incredible detail and colour that makes your iris one-of-a-kind.

What Makes This Different?

There’s iris photography, and then there’s my iris photography.

I don’t just press a button and hand over a JPEG. Each image goes through a tailored editing process, bringing out depth, detail, and artistic expression. You can even choose from creative edits like:

  • Infinity Edit: A representation of a lasting bond. A popular choice for couples and families.
  • Clash Edit: A dual-eye design – perfect for couples, best friends, or families – showcasing the contrast and harmony between two irises.

This isn’t mass-market. It’s personal. It’s precise. It’s unlike anything else you’ll find in Chepstow.

What’s Included?

  • A 15 – 30 minute photography session (depending on number of attendees in your booking)
  • 10–15 high-resolution shots taken of your iris
  • Professional hand-edited final image delivered via email within 5 working days printable up to A5
  • Optional upgrades for creative edits (Infinity / Clash / Explosion / Smoke)
  • Advice on how to print or display your artwork
  • Zero pressure

What’s Not Included

  • Instant prints (I don’t do quick-and-dirty edits – quality takes time)
  • Large Prints (these can be purchased optionally via my store)
  • Walk-ins without booking (to ensure quality and timing, all sessions must be pre-booked)

Why Book This Pop-Up?

  • 1st time in Chepstow: don’t miss your opportunity to miss the first pop-up in the area
  • Truly local: I bring the studio to your community. No need to travel to a photography studio in another city.
  • No automation: Every image is edited by me, not a preset, not AI – just hand, eye, and a bit of obsessive attention to detail.
  • Unique gift idea: Great for birthdays, anniversaries, or anyone who thinks outside the box.

FAQs – Your Questions Answered

How long does a session take?
Each session is for 15 – 30 minutes depending on number of people in your booking. It takes roughly 4 – 6 minutes per person.

Is there a minimum age?
Yes, I do not photograph children under 6 years of age. If parents choose to bring younger children a result cannot be guaranteed and a refund will not be provided. Iris photography requires that the subjects head and eye be totally still for at least 5 to 10 seconds. In addition they will need to sit very still in the head rest for a couple of minutes whilst the equipment is adjusted to their head size. Parents are solely responsible for deciding whether their child is suitable.

Can I bring friends/family?
Absolutely! We offer duo and group packages so you can capture multiple irises together.

How do I receive my photo?
Digital images are sent via email within 5 working days. Printed options are available.
