Discover the Art of Iris Photography in Cambridge
For the very first time, The Touring Eye is bringing the magic of macro iris photography to Cambridge city. This one-day-only pop-up event is your chance to see your eye like you’ve never seen it before – captured with studio lighting, macro precision, and transformed into an artwork as unique as your fingerprint.
Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind personal keepsake, a creative couple’s portrait, or something visually stunning for your wall – this is not your average photo session.
I create striking, detailed close-up images of your iris, enhanced by hand through meticulous editing – no AI filters, no automation, no batch processing. Every image is hand-crafted to reflect the colour, light, and texture that makes your eye yours.
What Makes This Different?
There’s iris photography, and then there’s my iris photography.
I don’t just press a button and hand over a JPEG. Each image goes through a tailored editing process, bringing out depth, detail, and artistic expression. You can even choose from creative edits like:
- Infinity Edit: A representation of a lasting bond. A popular choice for couples and families.
- Clash Edit: A dual-eye design – perfect for couples, best friends, or families – showcasing the contrast and harmony between two irises.
This isn’t mass-market. It’s personal. It’s precise. It’s unlike anything else you’ll find in Cambridge.

FAQs – Your Questions Answered
❓ How long does a session take?
Each session is for 15 – 30 minutes depending on number of people in your booking. It takes roughly 4 – 6 minutes per person.
❓ Is there a minimum age?
Yes, I do not photograph children under 6 years of age. If parents choose to bring younger children a result cannot be guaranteed and a refund will not be provided. Iris photography requires that the subjects head and eye be totally still for at least 5 to 10 seconds. In addition they will need to sit very still in the head rest for a couple of minutes whilst the equipment is adjusted to their head size. Parents are solely responsible for deciding whether their child is suitable.
❓ Can I bring friends/family?
Absolutely! We offer duo and group packages so you can capture multiple irises together.
❓ How do I receive my photo?
Digital images are sent via email within 5 working days. Printed options are available.
